SamBoad Trains Priority Insurance Agents in Koforidua on Digital Marketing and Branding

Koforidua, Ghana — Priority Insurance Company Limited, in collaboration with Samuel Kwame Boadu and his SamBoad Business Group Limited team, has launched a nationwide digital marketing and branding training program for its insurance agents. The initiative aims to help agents strengthen their online presence and enhance client engagement through modern digital tools, including WhatsApp Business.

The training series focuses on three key pillars shaping the success of today’s insurance professionals — Branding, Digital Marketing, and Client Relationship Building via WhatsApp. The initiative forms part of Priority Insurance’s commitment to supporting agents in navigating the rapid evolution of technology within the insurance industry.

This program also aligns with the SamBoad Business Group’s Corporate Digital Marketing Initiative, which supports businesses across Ghana in adapting to new marketing trends and digital transformation strategies.

The first session was held at Priority House, the company’s headquarters in Accra, for all Greater Accra agents. Following that success, the next phase of the training took place in Koforidua, targeting agents in the Eastern Region.

During the opening of the Koforidua session, Mr. Prince Boamah Bremang, Acting Branch Manager, emphasized the importance of equipping agents with digital skills to remain competitive amid post-pandemic business challenges and fast-changing technology.

Mr. Ernest Danquah, Head of Retail and Agency at Priority Insurance, further outlined the program’s objectives — enhancing operational capacity, boosting digital adaptability, and safeguarding employment within the insurance sector.

During his session, Samuel Kwame Boadu — who also serves as a digital marketing consultant — stressed that branding goes beyond having a strong name or logo.

“True branding is about alignment,” he explained. “Your personal and business goals must reflect the vision and objectives of Priority Insurance. Consistency in message, visuals, and customer experience both online and offline is key.”

Boadu also highlighted the growing importance of digital marketing channels such as social media, content creation, SEO, and paid advertising in today’s customer journey. He encouraged agents to harness WhatsApp Business as a vital tool for client retention and communication, emphasizing the role of trust, transparency, and personalization in building long-term client relationships.

Adding to the conversation, Mr. Ephram Gideon Lomotey, Deputy Manager of Broker Relations, urged agents to embrace digital channels fully.

“Technology should not be feared — it should be leveraged,” he advised. “The more agents utilize digital tools, the stronger our industry becomes.”

Over 15 agents from the Koforidua Branch took part in the training and expressed deep appreciation for the practical insights gained. The interactive format — featuring group discussions, case studies, and Q&A sessions — allowed participants to learn hands-on strategies to enhance their daily operations.

The SamBoad Business Group and Priority Insurance teams plan to continue the training series nationwide, ensuring every branch benefits from the program. The next sessions will focus on helping agents further understand digital marketing strategy, customer engagement, and personal branding in a competitive digital ecosystem.

For Samuel Kwame Boadu, this initiative reflects his broader mission — to bridge the gap between traditional business operations and modern digital practices in Ghana.
